VSUZH Legal Advice

If you are confronted with a legal problem, ReBeKo of VSUZH offers a first point of contact for legal advice. This service is free of charge for members of VSUZH,  VAUZ,  VSZHAW and VSETH.

Research Integrity / Ombudsperson UZH

The point of contact in cases of suspected dishonesty in research is the UZH ombudsperson and their deputies. If members of the university become aware of misconduct in research or have a reasonable suspicion, they are asked to contact them immediately.

Protection against Sexual Harrassment

The University of Zurich has a set of regulations to ensure protection against sexual harassment ("Reglement zum Schutz vor sexueller Belästigung an der Universität Zürich," in the following RSB). The regulations stipulate unequivocally that sexual harassment is prohibited and will not be tolerated.

New Whistleblowing-Platform of the Ombudsperson of the Canton of Zurich

The ombudsperson's office of the Canton of Zurich now offers an online platform where grievances can be reported anonymously (whistleblowing):

Zurich Contact Point Racism (Zürcher Anlaufstelle Rassismus ZüRAS)

The organisation ZüRAS is mandated by the City and Canton of Zurich: 'Do you feel unfairly treated, discriminated against or threatened due to your origin, skin colour or religion? Do you experience racism and discrimination at work, in your free time or in your neighbourhood? We are here to support you. We can advise you, recommend what steps to take next and find solutions together with you. The counselling is confidential and independent. If you live in the Canton of Zurich, counselling is free of charge.'
