Are you someone with visions and missions for a future academia by promoting academic mid-level faculty and wish to hone your management skills by co-managing VAUZ?
If you wish to get involved in academic self-administration and don't want others to take all decisions about your studies and career, and are brave enough and have the backbone to stand up for yourself and all others, e.g. if you and your colleagues have to work overtime to get your work done and you'd like to change this, then VAUZ is the right place for you. Stand up for yourself and your colleagues - because we reap what we sow.
By joining the VAUZ Executive Team, you will co-organize cool contributions for yourself and cool academic mid-level colleagues!
Joining the VAUZ Executive Team
PhD studies and Postdocs are time-limited. They end with graduation or the conclusion of the fixed-term employment contract. Therefore, VAUZ as an academic mid-level association constantly needs new young talent like you to keep going and improve conditions.

actionuni der Schweizer Mittelbau
actionuni der Schweizer Mittelbau / actionuni le corps intermédiaire académique suisse / actionuni il collegio intermediario academico svizzero represents young researchers as well as the associations of non-professorial academic staff of the Swiss cantonal universities, the Federal Institutes of Technology, the Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences, and the Swiss Universities of Teacher Education on the Swiss national as well as the international level. actionuni’s objectives are to improve the academic career tracks and to coordinate the activities of the Swiss associations of non-professorial academic staff.

Vacancies in eurodoc
Eurodoc is the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers. It is an international federation of 29 national organisations of PhD candidates, and more generally of young researchers from 26 countries of the European Union and the Council of Europe.
Eurodoc’s objectives are:
- To represent doctoral candidates and junior researchers at the European level in matters of education, research, and professional development of their careers.
- To advance the quality of doctoral programmes and the standards of research activity in Europe.
- To promote the circulation of information on issues regarding young researchers; organize events, take part in debates and assist in the elaboration of policies about Higher Education and Research in Europe.
- To establish and promote co-operation between national associations representing doctoral candidates and junior researchers within Europe.
Eurodoc was founded in Girona (Spain) on 02/02/02. Since 2005, Eurodoc has its seat in Brussels, Belgium.
