Mental Health Awareness Week 2026
Action week for Mental Health at UZH
05.- 09.10.2026
Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 offers students and university community members a platform for open, respectful dialogue about mental health. Since the pressure to perform, fears about the future, and stress are often high during college, this week aims to show that you are not alone in facing these challenges.
At the UZH Campus Center, a variety of events are daily offered, most of which are free, such as
- Expert lectures on sensitive and important topics, such as breaking the taboo surrounding suicidal crises and providing concrete support.
- Interactive activities such as discussion groups, mindfulness exercises, and networking with like-minded people.

Mindful(L) is a student-led initiative at UZH. The parentheses in the name—or rather, the pun—represent mindfulness and the goal of clearing one’s mind or fully engaging with the topic. The organization is primarily dedicated to destigmatizing mental illness in the academic environment.
