Invitation to the Workshop on Responsible AI Use for ECRs

The Eurodoc Academic Integrity and Artificial Intelligence Working Group is inviting to the Workshop on Responsible AI Use for ECRs.
The Workshop is focused on understanding what kind of training Early Career Researchers (ECRs) need to use AI responsibly in their academic work!
It will be held in a World Café–style brainstorming session where you'll rotate through breakout discussions on key questions such as:
- How are you currently using AI in your research or teaching?
- What training would help you use AI more responsibly?
- What challenges, technical or humanistic, do you face in integrating AI into your academic practice?
The workshop will begin with a short introduction to what it means to take a humanistic perspective on AI, emphasizing human well-being, authorship, creativity, and academic values. We’ll then break into three 15-minute discussion rounds, each building on the last, followed by a group reflection and wrap-up.
Your input will directly feed into our ongoing efforts to shape better support structures and training opportunities for ECRs navigating the evolving AI landscape.
