actionuni is seeking a new representative for mid-level faculty on the Swiss Accreditation Council | Schweizerischer Akkreditierungsrat, where Carla Duss, Lic. rel. Int., has represented Swiss mid-level faculty since 2019 and will step down at the end of the year.

Call actionuni for the Swiss Accreditation Council
Requirements for Acadmic Mid-Level Faculty Representation on the Swiss Accreditation Council
● Interest in higher education institutions and higher education policy.
● Knowledge of the higher education landscape in Switzerland.
● Fluency in English and as many national languages as possible.
● Willingness to serve at least one term (2027–2031).
● Substantial experience in teaching and teaching evaluation is an asset.
● Preference will be given to applicants who are currently or have previously been members of the academic mid-level faculty in Switzerland.
Main Responsibilities at the Swiss Accreditation Council
● Attendance at the four annual SAK meetings and the “Journée de Réflexion.” Each of these events lasts one day.
● Preparing for the meetings takes approximately four working days. The materials are provided two weeks in advance.
● Participation in specific SAC projects, as needed.
